People

ORIP believes that even at basic agricultural level it must attract, develop, retain and motivate loyal and hardworking people who care and who work together.

We want to give them the training they need to succeed and be happy. We want to teach them to be responsible, and recognize them for their work.

We believe that everyone on our team is important and deserves respect for who they are, and how they are able to contribute to our success.

We say “team members” not “workers”…. Because our people are a precious resource to be invested in, not expenses to be managed — and because teamwork is essential to help us succeed!

The legendary banker Walt Wriston once said, “human capital goes where it is wanted and stays where it is well treated.”

ORIP must therefore be known as a great place to work.

A place where team members know we really care about our people, where teamwork is valued and rewarded, and where how the work gets done is just as important as getting the work done.

To achive this, ORIP’s management commits itself to the following way of working:
•    To take only prudent risks.
•    To lead by example.
•    To lead by having the courage to speak what we believe is the truth.
•    To care about each other and to show it.
